 100km Cycling Challenge
22nd September 2019 Setting off from the Cobalt Bike Hub heading out North West into Northumberland then East to the coast aiming to stop at The Drift Café, Cresswell for Lunch. Returning mainly via Route 1 to Tynemouth then Route 10 back to Cobalt.
Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

"I started cycling to work seven years ago using a hire bike from Cobalt Park and I've regular booked in my own bike for the monthly bike MOT sessions.
The staff at Cobalt Park and the bike mechanics have always been very friendly and professional. When I first started, I thought a six mile each way commute was going to be too much as I had not cycled for many years, but it really isn't.
The more you do it, the fitter and stronger you become. I've certainly saved a lot of money in fuel costs and I've become very fit and strong as a result. So get yourself along to Cobalt and get a free hire bike or get your own bike professionally serviced.
You won't regret it. You'll save loads of money, get really fit and you're doing your bit to keep the environment cleaner!" |
