School Governor Workshop

The North East LEP are delivering a workshop focusing on becoming a voluntary Enterprise Advisor or School Governor. 

 

So, if your organisation gives you volunteering time and you would like to do something truly meaningful this could we the workshop for you! 

 

This is purely an information session to find out what it it takes to carry out these roles and the opportunities available to you. 

 

These roles are incredibly rewarding, not only does it give back to the community people can improve their own skillsets in things like leadership and project management, so its an opportunity for personal and professional development too.

Newcastle Thunder Rugby Club at Cobalt Central 

Thursday 26th May - 11:30 until 2:30

 

To launch our discounted ticket offer with Newcastle Thunder Rugby Club head down to Cobalt Central where you can meet the players, take part in some fun activities and grab some discounted tickets. 

 

On the day there will be an exclusive promotion for the game against Bradford Bulls on 8th July where you can purchase these tickets for just £5. 

 

We will also have some delicious food from Redhead Mac and Cheese

Cobalt Bike Hub 

Wednesday 1st June 

 

Bookings are now live for your FREE bike MOT! 

 

A free MOT is a health check for your bike to make sure it is working safely for those sunny morning commutes. 
 
Our free Bike MOTs are available to all Cobalt staff and your bike will be checked and adjusted during your working day. You will receive a full breakdown of advisories and maintenance required. Bike4Health can take your bike to their Benton workshop for extensive repairs if required.  
 
Simply drop your bike off at the Cobalt Bike Hub* between 8am & 10am and collect at lunchtime**
 
We kindly ask that you book a slot so we can make sure your bike can be looked at. Bookings are now open and can be made using the link below. 
 
 
Our friendly and helpful mechanics from Bike4Health are also on hand for any bike related queries for example: 
 
- Get cycling by loaning a Cobalt Pool Bike 
 
- Cycle routes to, from, and around Cobalt
 
- Cycle 2 work scheme sales and advice
 
- Setting up your cycling position
