European Mobility Week at Cobalt 

European Mobility Week is all about raising awareness of alternative sustainable transport options. Whether you are looking to reduce your carbon footprint, get fitter or to save money, discovering your sustainable transport options could be very beneficial to you. 

 Cobalt have arrange a whole host of activities to help you discover your options!

Cobalt Ride In

20th & 21st September 

Cobalt is surrounded by 5 miles of bridleways and cycle paths so cycling to work couldn't be easier. 

To demonstrate this we have organised 2 ride-ins, one from Whitley Bay and one from Gosforth both ending at Cobalt.

Leave your car at home day 

Thursday 22nd September 

We are challenging you to leave the car at home!

On Thursday 22nd September we would like as many people as possible using sustainable transport for your commute into work. 

How you travel into work is totally up to you, the wackier the better! We've had people using skateboards, hoverboards, unicycles, you name it! 

Post yourself traveling sustainably on social media and tag @morecobalt to be in with the chance of winning prizes from Acropolis, The Hustle and Cathryn Clark Physiotherapy. 

Cobalt Bike Hub - Wednesday 7th September 

Slots still available to get your bike booked in for a free MOT! 

Our friendly mechanics from Bike4Health will carry out a full inspection and make minor adjustments to your bike. 

They are also on hand if you need any advice on setting up your cycling position properly, safe routes to work, great places to ride on the weekend or anything else bike related.
