Pride in Cobalt Parade 2024

Thursday 18th July - Mark your calendars! 

After the resounding success of our 2023 Pride parade, we're thrilled to announce that the 2024 celebration will be even bigger and better! This year marks our first parade since the formation of the Pride in Cobalt steering group, comprised of passionate members from across the business park. The group is eager to highlight the importance of inclusion and diversity with an exciting afternoon filled with fun activities.

Our Pride Parade aligns perfectly with Northern Pride, taking place from July 19th to 21st. This is a fantastic opportunity to show your support for inclusion and diversity during your workday.

Parade Details

Start time: 12pm

Start Location: Cobalt Management Office

Duration: Approx. 1 hour

Route: (see route above)

A tour around the park, starting and ending at Cobalt Central. 

We encourage all staff members to participate! Whether you want to come out and wave, join us for part of the walk, or complete the entire route, we would love to see you there.

Adding to the excitement, a live band will be joining us on the route- don't miss out on the fun!

There will be FREE face painting available at Cobalt Central from 11am

Wider Event Details 

The Pride Parade is just the beginning! Join us for the full event from 11am to 3pm at Cobalt Central. 

Chill out in the sun (Hopefully!) and enjoy live performances on a full-sized stage. Delight in face painting, explore a variety of stalls, and savour delicious food, or bring your own picnic. Plus, take advantage of numerous opportunities to win some fantastic prizes!

Volunteers-

We need you!

To ensure the event runs smoothly we are looking for some volunteers to give us a hand on the day. 

Volunteers would need to be available from 11am-3pm on Thursday 18th July.
