Cobalt Ride-in for European Mobility Week
As part of European Mobility Week w/c 19th September we are encouraging you all to ditch the car and choose a more sustainable alternative for your commute into work.
One of the ways you can do this is by cycling. Did you know that Cobalt is surrounded by 5 miles of bridleways and cycle paths, so cycling to work couldn’t be easier.
Cobalt alongside Bike 4 Health has arranged 2 Cobalt ride-ins, one from Whitley Bay and one from Gosforth both ending at Cobalt. This is an excellent opportunity if you’re thinking about cycling into work but don’t know where to start or if you just want to come along for the ride.
The commute from Whitley Bay will also include the use of the new ‘Dutch style’ roundabout at Rake Lane.
If this is of interest to you, please register via the Eventbrite link provided for your chosen route.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a bike, you can loan one from our fleet of pool bikes. Please make sure to let us know via the Eventbrite form if you need to loan a bike.
Please see details for each ride below:
