STEPTEMBER - Cobalt Step Challenge occurs daily, until 2026-09-29

Tuesday 1 September – Wednesday 30 September 

This September, Cobalt Park is focusing on all things sustainable and active travel as part of European Mobility Week  As a fun way to get the Park moving we’ve launched a fun September Step Challenge. A friendly competition between businesses across Cobalt Park to see who can clock up the most steps throughout the month!

The Challenge 

We’re inviting businesses across Cobalt Park to put together teams of up to 15 people and compete to see who can clock up the most steps throughout September. 

Whether you want to be a little more active than usual, walk into work a couple of extra days this month, or simply take the stairs instead of the lift, every step counts! 

There will be a leaderboard for participating businesses, with regular updates throughout the month so you can see how your team is doing and keep the competition going. 

There will be prizes for: 

The winning business/team - £100 Starbucks/Dominos voucher to share with your team 

The individual with the highest number of steps- £50 Amazon voucher 

 

How to sign up 

Once your business has registered its interest, you’ll receive a unique sign-up link for your business. 

The link will take you to download the StepUp app, where you’ll be enrolled into your business-specific team. 

The app is completely free to download and free to take part in. 

Once you’re signed up, the app will track your steps using your smartphone or wearable device. You’ll be able to see the steps of other participants within your own business/team, but you won’t be able to see the steps of participants from other teams. 

I’ll keep everyone updated with regular leaderboards throughout the challenge so you can see how your business is performing! 

 

What if we don’t have 15 people? 

No problem! 

If your business has fewer than 15 people taking part, we’ll use the average steps of the team to make sure the competition remains fair across businesses of different sizes. 

If your business has more than 15 people who would like to take part, we can set up an additional team. This will require a separate sign-up link, so please let me know in advance if you think you’ll need more than one team.
